Repeated F76 error messages, with the control panel blacking out. Rebooting it helped sometimes, but we had to have the control panel replaced twice in less than a year. Horrible reliability for an appliance that is usually trouble-free - particularly one at this price point.

Gimmicks not improvements!

I purchased this range from a reputable dealer in August 2016 and have been cooking on it since then. In my opinion the gas range got about as good as it can get around 1990. The new so-called improvements don't improve -- they detract. A good example is high heat burner on this model. It does indeed boil water faster but it is difficult to use for other cooking. It burns stuff too easily, there is no appropriate setting to saute food in a large pan (it is the only really large burner). The center low simmer burner does not work as well as the old-fashioned simmer burner on the back of my old gas stove. The oven rack that slides out is very difficult to remove - you can't if the oven is even a little warm. So you can't wipe up spills on the bottom of the oven easily -- it's a big project. I finally took out that rack and just use the 2 old fashioned racks. The touchpad control is so sensitive we all keep turning things on and off without realizing it -- almost ruined my Thanksgiving turkey until I noticed the oven had somehow been turned off. I'd much rather have knobs and buttons. The caste iron top racks are very heavy. So if you want to put the griddle on the center burner, you have a lot of lifting to do -- and where to store that big griddle is a real issue. I've reverted to using my old square burner top griddle since it is easier to use and I can put a lid over the grilled food and let it rest a bit. Can't do that with the center griddle -- no lids would fits that. All in all I would not recommend this. I would have preferred a cheap stand alone model -- they have not been improved but I had to have a slide-in in my kitchen.

looks cool!

Bought this 2-3 months ago. The discs sitting on the burner are too wide, the gas does not touch the small pots at all. Only one burner has the central burner within a big burner where I can use a small pot. The height between the burner and the grid is so much, it takes forever to cook or boil anything. I have had GE profile gas stove before and the burners' diameter so small, the fire would touch the pot and boil fast. The central 5th burner is also not too high enough to grill anything fast. The time consumption to cook on this stove is higher than other stoves. Also I bought this appliance by looking online, not knowing the distance from the front to back. The control panel has taken so much room in the front, it is hard to reach the back burners for an average height person.

Great looking, awesome features

Bought this stove 2 months, I like it fine, although I do wish the controls were not as slanted, and a little more flat. It is difficult to cook without getting the controls dirty. Overall I am very happy with my decision. I replaced an outdated electric stove.
